Bullock's Oriole

Icterus bullockii

Description:

I heard the unusal sound and looked up to find the Bullock's Oriole. This one is a male. The male is mostly yellow-orange on the underside of the body. The tail, back and back of wings are black and going up the back of neck and over the top of the head. It also has black on the chin to chest. A black stripe across the eyes. Thick white wing bar.

Habitat:

Spotted this one foraging in Sycamore trees.
