Chalky Bird Dropping Moth

Description:

White, brown and yellow moth that mimics a bird dropping. This moth was 1.5 cm long and crawled on my finger.

Habitat:

Under porch light in the backyard. "Widespread throughout southern and central United States, as far north as extreme southern Saskatchewan, Canada and south into Mexico."
