Thunbergia mysorensis
Gorgeous shoe-shaped flowers hanging in dense and multiple inflorescences from a woody vine. They are bright yellow and maroon. They are also called Lady's Slipper Vine and Doll's Shoes. Family Acanthaceae. They originate in warm climates from Spain to India. I had never seen these before.
Hacienda Santa Maria, Montebello, Chiapas.
This beautiful plant was also recently spotted by Frankie Fernandez in the Philippines (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/236...)
