Hi lori.tas,
Thank you very much for pointing out the difference between a slug and a sea cucumber. So, it is an Ocellated Sea Cucumber.

HI Bob, a slug would have been flared out on the underside (their "foot"). What you found was a small sea cucumber (this species gets up to 2 feet long). Great Photo, btw.

Martin, thank you for your comment. I don't know anything about slugs, but most of what I have seen are the fat black ones, shaped more like a big hot dog.
