Paropsisterna intacta
About 14mm long. Attractive patterns of fine lines with a plain buff colour around the waterline. Spots on the pronotum might look like larger or extra eyes or maybe musical notes.
On a brick wall under strong night lighting at the local school. Large eucalyptus trees overhang the location.

martin, Rieko, Lauren, dotun, Sckel - thanks for comments. I am surprised how large and cooperative these are for leaf beetles.
Fantastic. Where did you hide the can of varnish?
Great! I spotted this for the first time just last weekend. Would share photos soon.
Another great macro! Beautiful!
What a beautiful beetle you found!
Love this beetle, it makes me smile.
The big eyes make him look like Pooh Bear.
