Algae Octopus

Abdopus aculeatus

Description:

This Algae Octopus - Abdopus aculeatus are not a common sight, probably not because they are rare but more likely because they are so difficult to be seen through their camouflage. Unlike some other Octopus they do not flash bright colours but maintain a consistent greyish look. Their body and tentacles usually bears filaments that looks like algae, hence their name.
