Brown-striped Marsh Frog

Limnodynastes peronii

Description:

Distinctive Markings Black stripe across eye, stripe along back, calling sound. Other Common Names Striped Marsh Frog Identifying Characteristics Body brown with light and dark stripes across. Narrow, pale stripe usually along the middle of the back. Wide, dark stripe from the nose, through the eye to the top of the arm. Up to 8 cm long.

Habitat:

Restricted to areas with wetlands.

Notes:

Biology Brown-striped Frogs eat a variety of foods, including smaller frogs. Eggs are laid in floating foam masses attached to vegetation in still waters. Diet Insects

I believe that is a Leopard frog (Rana sphenocephala) but it may be a Pickeral frog (Rana palustris).
