Five-lined Skink

Description:

Juveniles and females have a black body with 5 yellow lines running down the back and onto a bright blue tail. It is distinguished from the very similar looking broad-headed skink by the number of upper labials (scales on the upper lip.

Habitat:

Flipped under a moist log in an oak forest.

It was 50 something degrees haha. The salamander I just posted was loving it and was running around like it was on drugs or something and it was such a pain to photograph haha
