Bodylength around a cm. I was unable to ID this spider. Maybe Silver Orb Spider?
Found in tall grass.
These are really pretty spiders and not nearly so intimidating as the big golden ones.
Great shot. I agree with bayucca's ID... check out the second last shot on the reference he's posted. There doesn't seem to be anything else out there like it.
Thank you Mac. bayucca, thank you so much for your research & suggestion. I cant say for sure myself, though it's the closest I've seen. I wonder if they are variable? I'll leave it for a bit & see if everyone agrees. Thank you :) Chief, lovely to see we may share the same creatures.
