Semnornis ramphastinus
The Toucan Barbet is a distinctive bird found in humid forests growing on the west Andean slopes in north-western Ecuador and south-western Colombia.
One of my target species during my time in Ecuador I wanted to share with you guys first. I'm flying out from Quito this evening and returning home from this successful trip. Be on the look out for more great shots from the tropics.
