Strange White Mayfly about 2 cm long. It landed on the table at night and proceeded to beat it's wings without stopping for about 8 minutes and then expired. Ephemeroptera.
Lacandon Jungle, Las Guacamayas Eco-Lodge, Lacantun River, Chiapas.
Mayflies are short lived as adults and are the only insect which molts a second time after adulthood. The juveniles are aquatic.
