Description:

about an inch long from front leg tips to back leg tips. No other spiders visible in the web. Center of orb appeared gauzy from a distance from the thicker zig-zagging fibers as seen in the photo

Habitat:

this was in a backyard less than a mile from Oso Bay

Definitely a cross spider which is parrot the Argiopes. Not sure which exact species.
