There is a pale form called Calomela pallida (to answer Leuba's question).
I saw one in Queensland with pale stripes
http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/157... is probably going to be re-named. Calomela pallida is even more pallid and illustrated here http://www.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/science/Evo... This raises a question over the images on the Brisbane insect website images, which he called pallida .

Don't know why this is called "pallida" when it has such a pretty brilliant colour. A little beauty.
