yes Mark, it was on a narrow animal parth amongst long grass, but it shone through... very easy to see, orange uppermost.

Incredibly cool colours, pamsai! I never knew there were orange scaly Agaricus! Such a treat for the eye:)

Well this is an odd one. At first I thought of Flammulaster or maybe Cyptotrama species, but the gill color is off for that. I'm thinking something close to Agaricus crocopeplus.

I love the contrast between the orange and the dull colored gills.
