yes Mark, it was on a narrow animal parth amongst long grass, but it shone through... very easy to see, orange uppermost.

Well this is an odd one. At first I thought of Flammulaster or maybe Cyptotrama species, but the gill color is off for that. I'm thinking something close to Agaricus crocopeplus.
