Fun fact! Jackdaws build their nests in crevices, by dropping sticks into them and then adding a lining of animal hair. As well as collecting hair and wool caught on fences and vegetation, some enterprising jackdaws will pluck it straight from the coats of sheep, cows and deer! This usually doesn’t harm the animal in question and may actually help it to shed its winter coat, and the birds will also rid it of ticks and other parasites while they epilate. https://upload.facebook.com/projectnoah/...
