Black June Beetle

Phyllophaga spp

Description:

I went outside at 5:00 a.m. in the morning, to see if I could find some insects to photograph. The garage door, has two, outdoor, night light bulbs, that stays on all night, and it also attracts a lot of insects. Sometimes, these two, outdoor, night light bulbs, will attract a frog or a lizard. On this morning, I spotted a black beetle. This black beetle, was about five sixteenth of an inch long. Order: Coleoptera.

Habitat:

I spotted this black beetle, near one of the garage door, outdoor, night light bulbs.

Notes:

I spotted this black beetle, near one of the garage door, outdoor, night light bulbs, at 5:00 a.m. in the morning.
