Brown Anole

Description:

At 9:15 a.m. in the morning, I looked out through the front window, that was to the right of the front door. I saw a brown Anole, resting on the sidewalk, about five feet from the front door of my house. This brown Anole, stayed in this position for about two minutes, before it ran into the bushes. This brown Anole, has a long tail. There dark-colored tails, are laterally compressed. There diet consists of various insects, including: grasshoppers, spiders, crickets, cockroaches, waxworms, and mealworms. Phylum: Chordata Class: Reptilia Order: Squamata Family: Polychrotidae.

Habitat:

They are considered semi-arboreal, living both on trees and on the ground, with warm and sunny climates being ideal for them.

I spotted this brown Anole, resting on the sidewalk, about five feet from the front door of my house, at 9:15 a.m. in the morning.
