Found this guy crossing the road. Bothered him for some photos and helped him/her across.
After some additional investigation prompted by another crayfish spotting, I'm not certain that this is a rusty crayfish, as there are no confirmed findings of that species (O. rusticus) in the Tulsa area.
It should be noted that the habitat exists for O. rusticus to do well, so if anyone can provide further resolution based on my photographs, please do so.
What?! If only I'd've known. I would have left him/her to try the gauntlet of the road...
