Yucca moths

Description:

Pure white insects, some specimens speckled with black, roughly 10 mm in length.

Habitat:

Found perched at the tip of yucca leaves on an overcast, cool afternoon in a vast open field of grasses, yucca, and other plants. Some scattered elm trees.

Notes:

Yucca moths are the only pollinators of yucca flowers.
