Thanks RodAG_for the suggestion. Went through the list under PN 'Organism', but non has horns. Still stuck!

This look like Ampulex compressa, or some related species. Anyway, it's a beautiful shot.

Thanks Lauren, however your post dated: Jun 18, 2013 has no horns. Looks like this one's got stuck with those horns, because non of PN's 107 posts under 'Organism' has horns.

Thanks stho002 for the lead, but non of the 107 posts under PN's 'Organism' has a horn! In fact, many of the posts lean towards hoverflies.
