Green Frog

Lithobates clamitans

Description:

Green frogs have dorsolateral ridges that run down the sides of their backs, which distinguishes them from bullfrogs, which lack them.

Habitat:

I spotted these three frogs resting on a small patch of moss and wildflowers next to a small stream.
