The nails of a true nature enthusiast. Perfect nail polish would look so out of place. I'm constantly picking dirt out from beneath my nails (gardener's nails). Now they frighten even me.

Neil, they are growing in a crack in the back but even in areas where the bark is peeled off they only grow on the edge and not in the big open spaces. ChiefRedEarth sorry my red nail polish frightened you :P I get this idea to act like a girl in my head every once in awhile... it never lasts long though. :D

Something new and interesting to me! But the third picture frightened me. :)) Red nail polish. :))

Until yesterday, I had no idea that fungi could be furry, and this is now the second furry species I've seen. The last images is particularly interesting, showing how they grow in a line. Looks like a crack in the bark? I do love fungi :-)
