Unknown Jumping Spider

Description:

A cute little jumping spider that my mom found in our house and didn't kill (I'm so proud of her! ;). A few millimeters long and very curious. I have no idea what species or even genus this is, as I don't recall seeing one before. Also, its abdomen was very fat, especially compared to the cephalothorax. Possibly gravid? After this "photoshoot" it was released outside.

Habitat:

Found in my house

Notes:

I put this guy/gal on a sheet of printer paper and that's how I achieved the white "background".

I may have a few, but they aren't from straight above it. It really does look like Naphrys pulex.

I am not certain on this one but it isn't unlike Naphrys pulex, http://bugguide.net/node/view/166305/bgi...

Do you have any other views of this cutie? A view of the dorsum (back) can be very helpful when trying to ID these spiders.

Thanks! I'm a big spider guy, but I have no clue what this is.

Awesome picture man. I wish I knew what it was, but I'm horrible with spider IDs so I wouldn't be much help. Great shot though.

Thanks! I have a Canon Rebel T3i with an 18-55mm lens. The lens was reversed (allowing extreme close-ups) with a cheap $7 macro reverse ring. I was just using the built-in flash, although I could probably do better with an external flash.
