Description:

Agaricus bernardii - Thick Whitish dirty cap with deep separated pink gills changing to dark chocolate with age. Stubby, thick bulbous stem pinching to a point at the bottom. Single veil.

Habitat:

Found growing under Colorado blue spruce and ponderosa pine trees. Growing up out of the dirt near the drip line of the spruce and pine trees, with some in the grassy edges. Also growing in the dirt near Elm trees. at (39.732183196125725, -104.96465563774109)
