Description:

Bug with a golden, wavy stripe across the wings. The head has a spine between the eyes on the tip of the head. The rear legs have leaf-shaped tibia.

Porch light in the backyard

of course seen the california sea lion too.
Long tailed weasel ,rosy Boa sound awesome,but too overwhelming.
i am looking for sharp tailed snakes which are about a foot long and supposed to be common.

i saw a kingsnake.

So to add to my list of California Quail, tarantula,Coyote,Bob cat,
The ranger told me where the Mt lion is. Too scared to go there. and as for bears ,will have to go to Tahoe. Extinct on Mt Diablo.
i am not sure if I saw the California sister butterfly.
if anything californian comes to mind please let me know!!
