Aphids

Order Hemiptera

Description:

These Aphids considered as pests belonging to Order Hemiptera... live by feeding on the phloem ( living tissue that carries organic nutrients in plants) ... Aphids excrete honeydew, which is used as a sugar source by many other insects including ants ... which are usually seen tending colonies of these aphids and other hoppers. The aphid life cycle is one of the most fascinating among insects because most of the individuals seen are female, clones of their mothers..(Parthenogenesis), born pregnant, and give birth to live young.....!
