Description:

There were several different kinds of fungi growing on the smae pile of rotting logs. This was the sole representative of this species, an unidentified tiny capped muchroom.

Habitat:

This mushroom was growing on a rotting coconut log in a large semi-urban yard and garden next to a disturbed patch of remnant forest. This location is in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
