Dasyatis pastinaca

Description:

Spotted in Eivissa, near the harbour. It feeds on crustaceans, fish, cephalopods and bivalves. It is ovoviviparous. Measures typically between 1.2 and 2.1 m wide and has a poison barb about 20 inches in the queue.

Habitat:

You can found Pastinacas in the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea and the Eastern Atlantic.
