Blue Dasher

Description:

Pale blue and red eyes. Yellow-green body with stripes on thorax. Wings held forward and down when at rest. No club on tail noted. Yellow stripe down tail on top and bottom.

Habitat:

Found resting on a dead branch of unknown tree in an old field with a wooded area that is unkempt and has a creek nearby.

Notes:

It let me get really close, for a long time, which is why I was able to capture several photos. I think this is a female, but I'm not positive.
