A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Project Noah Nature School
Tragopan temminckii
A member of the pheasant family normally found from northern India to northern China.
Wildlife park - captive in aviary.
That would not surprise me, this park is not good at identifying which species it holds. Many pens have no data at all and those that do are sometimes wrong. Their website is a joke also, claiming 128 species but only depicting 10, mostly Owls!
Pretty sure this is a satyr tragopan, not a temminck's.
very pretty colors
