Thosea sp.
I spotted this spiny, green-colored caterpillar voraciously eating a leaf of a fishtail palm. The length of this caterpillar is 5 cm. It has an oval body with white longitudinal dorsal band.

It looks similar to Thosea sinensis but I can't find any official and recorded sightings of that species in the Philippines.
