I have the Tropical Fish ID book, but it can be difficult to distinguish between some species of Scorpionfishes especially if their distributions overlaps or if they are at Juvenile phases.
This one could either be Scorpaenopsis oxycephaia or papuensis.
Hi albert, not sure which one you have, but this guy is in the family Scorpaenidae but here's a wikipedia link with all the 23 genera of scorpionfish in this family
