Red Fox

Description:

Mostly Reddish-orange in color with black stockings and a white tip bushy tail. Under side is white or light grey. Larger then the Gray Fox.
Best distinctions between Gray and Red Fox is the Red Fox has black stocking legs and white tip on it's tail.

Notes:

I spotted this near the bay shore in the rocks either living there or preying on ground squirrels that also live in the rocks. It was busy watching a man walking his dog.
