Baby Brown Huntsman Spiders

Heteropoda sp.

Notes:

My husband and I love wildlife, but some things are beyond even us... such as finding HUNDREDS of baby huntsman spiders in our bedroom one night. They were all tiny - about 2-3mm across (including legs) - but they grow to the size of your hand (like this one http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/195...). All the black spots you can see in shot 3 are baby spiders, and the entire ceiling of the room was covered in them like this. A daddy longlegs (shot 4) was doing a good job of catching them and wrapping them up for later, but the task was beyond him too. I'm afraid they had to go... and we had to sleep in the guest room that night!!
