Description:

Rare sighting. This Stilt Sandpiper is smaller than a Lesser Yellowlegs, with brown-gray feathers on the back. Pale eyebrow and barring underparts. Long neck and long greenish legs with a black bill that droops near the end.

Habitat:

Spotted in a shallow marsh with Dowitchers, Dunlins and Yellowlegs.
