Lovely large moth easily measuring 2.75" in diameter.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica half way through the six month rainy season.

These shots specifically taken for moth week. Shot at 2 a.m. with flash and lights.f

Thank you so much Mark. This was huge for me this is the first that I have seen here in CR. The first one posted for CR too! I was so excited when I walked outside to shoot at 2 a.m. and saw this guy. It looked like there were mostly geometrid moths, of which, there are millions right now.
