Geometrid Moth


This lovely moth measures 3/4" in diameter.


Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica half way through the six month rainy season


This is currently the most prolific moth in the area. There are literally millions of them. If I were to do a count on my 3/4 acre property we would likely encounter a few thousand.
