A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Chelonia mydas
adults usually inhabit shallow reefs and lagoons, feeding mostly on various species of seagrasses. They are also migratory and can swim great distances to lay eggs on their ancestral beach.
There seems to be a group that frequent or stay near this beach where snorkeling with the turtles and turtle watching is a bit of an attraction. I took some photos in and out of the water.
