Mold fossil of a brachiopod. The rock measures 43.39 mm (1.70 in) and 31.53 mm (1.24 in) wide. The fossil measures 12.46 mm (0.49 in) and 12.43 mm (.48 in) wide. This fossil dates to the Devonian Period (416-359.2 million years ago).
