Centris lilacina
This is a female. Solitary specimen seen. Impressive pollen sacs and typically large eyes. Well-veined wings. Note the smooth brown abdomen with a yellow lateral fringe.
This one was found on Terra firme in Peruvian rainforest along the Thuayo River, in Loreto District. (see GPS location). Other spottings mentioned in Brazilian Amazon.
