Chicklet is now a 10-week-old bald eaglet. He has briefly lifted off (from edge of nest into nest).
This nest is in a pine tree along the Shark River at the Jersey Shore.

I like it how the juvenile is looking at the mature one. It looks like " I'm going to be that one day"
