Black butterfly with curved white stripes oriented fore and aft on each wing, of about 5 cm wingspan.

Habitat:

Sub-arctic forest.

Notes:

Spotted in the FamCamp aboard Eielson AFB. This individual was difficult to photograph, as it was actively flitting about in a small meadow.
