Banded Moth

Description:

A small moth, about 3 cm of length.
With very notorious horizontal bands.

Habitat:

Tepual forest near the sea, Parque Nacional Chiloé, sector Cucao.

Notes:

There where a lot of moths attracted to the light of the camping's bathroom, and they all landed on the bright green wall. Spent at least one hour taking pictures and showing them to one of my kids.
I used several lanterns plus the telephone's led flash to illuminate, hence the inconsistent lighting.
