Endemic species also known as the Philippine Hanging Parakeet. Feeds on flowers and nectar, specially of coconut and bananas.
spotted this bird on a small hut of locals along the trail on my ascent to Mt. Banoi, Lobo, Batangas in the Philippines. Altitude is approximately 400masl
All types of forest and maybe found in gardens in cities

yes, I agree. In fact, I still haven't seen a Colasisi that's not in captivity. I hope to see you in the future climbs sir! please let me know if you have a climb, or a birding sortie. I'm still a newbie and I really want to learn from people like you sir
still have to explore Mt. Banoi. this is one of the most caged avian for sale throughout our archipelago.
please spare this one to that mission. but if you are willing, please include your other finds to Wild Birds of the Philippines

sir KdonGalay oh sorry I forgot to mention, this colasisi is in captivity by an ex NPA who lives on a small local community in Mt. Banoi. I am against it, but can't do anything about it
