Cynodon dactylon
Originally, this species comes from the savannas of Africa and "grows in open areas where there are frequent disturbances such as grazing, flooding, and fire. Although most of these species have remained in Africa, today Cynodon dactylon is found in warm climates all over the world between 45° south and 45° north latitude." ~ blueplanetbiomes.org

Thanks, Ori, for the ID!
Thanks, Leuba! It reminded me of grass from my childhood in America - and now I know why!
Cynodon dactylon
I remember similar grass in India. It had 4 or 5 spikes. Nice !
