Yellow Sac Spider

Cheiracanthium mildei

Description:

Who's a good mom? This thing. After mating, the yellow sac spider lays 30-40 eggs, places them in a thin, silk sac and guards them. It is, however, not confined to its sac. This spider is an active hunter and ventures out at night to catch a bite. Why do I feel so itchy writing this?
