Carrhotus sannio
Metallic dark green and white jumping spider that has just caught its meal. About 8mm in length. Carrhotus sp., possibly Carrhotus sannio (Thorell, 1877) or Carrhotus viduus (C. L. Koch, 1846). Family Salticidae, Subfamily Heliophaninae. The male and female of this genus are so differently colored that they were denoted as different species. The male has a black head while the female's head has yellow-orange spots. Her body is beautifully colored with orange and yellow hairs. (from http://wongchunxing.com/)

Thank you very much, Atul, for the ID. I am also looking at Carrhotus viduus, based on the abdominal pattern shown at http://www.jumping-spiders.com/php/tax_d.... Both C. viduus and C. sannio occur in the Philippines. What do you think?
