Crhysis angolensis

Description:

Metallic/iridescent, emerald green and blue hymenopteran perching on bushes by my compost pile. Defensively curled its abdomen when I approached and then began running in circles and waggling its wings (alternating the extension of its wings from left side to right side)

Habitat:

Overgrown back yard/field. Mostly sweetgum trees nearby
