About 4,5 - 5 cm in diameter, lively orange with black patterned spots on upper side. The underside is green with some silvery streaks.

Habitat:

Meadow, Jura Mountains.

Hi Zlatan! This is not Issoria lathonia but another fritillary, Argynnis paphia. The greenish striated hindwing underside is the main criteria here; Issoria lathonia has large pearly nacreous spots.
