Green-gilled Lepiota

Chlorophyllum molybdites

Description:

Some mushrooms in the neighbor's yard. The last 2 photos were on 7/26, and the other photos were the next day, 7/27. The 4th and 1st photos were the exact same mushrooms, just on two different days. They continued to grow even bigger, especially the caps (they grew in diameter and circumference). In the second and third photos, a skipper decided to land on one of the "'shrooms", but flew away before I could get closer. Thanks to BenjaminKabel for the ID!

Habitat:

Thank you, I think that's what it is! I'll change the ID.

I've not used it yet, but it will hopefully help me!

I've found a lot of these too and have zero idea what they are. Fungus are so bloody hard to ID sometimes.
